Pretty sure that David Greer and David Jenkins were in the 82-83 season (I was a ball boy that year :) ). Think maybe Antonio Daniels and Anthony Stacey in Antonio's Senior year? This is purely off the top of my head, and it's late, so I may be wrong on either or both counts, and it might have happened some other time.
I have to believe Komives and Thurmond if the MAC existed then.

Huger has coached differently. So the negativity went away. If he was coaching the same way the negativity would remain.
Exactly. Prior to the 12/5 game Huger changed out 40% of our starting lineup.

Watching the games it has become obvious that we are playing a completely different brand of basketball over the past month than we were watching prior to 12/5. Looking at the box score some of this bears out. 12/5 and earlier the most assists we had in a game all season was 13. We had several games 10 or fewer assists. In our current winning streak we are AVERAGING 17 assists, fueled by games of 19, 21, and 25 assists.

Anecdotally any observer could say early on the season we did not seem to have direction, nor move the ball well. In the current win streak it has been refreshing to see the team playing team basketball. The assist totals bear that out. So yeah, when things change so drastically the narrative of how well the coach is performing will change accordingly. This is more than simply saying, "The team just needed to figure itself out." Huger has finally started to push the right buttons, and it started with changing up the starting lineup.

Hopefully the improved play continues. I was a bit saddened in the CMU game that we did NOT seem to move the ball as well as in recent games (especially down the stretch) and really relied solely on Turner's ability to get things on his own. Luckily he had a fantastic game (especially down the stretch), and his ability to create was enough for us to win. But I don't think it's speaking out of line to say that this team is oh so much better when it's moving the ball around and getting everybody involved. Anecdotally we also don't seem to be forcing every half court set to run through WIggins in the post either.

I don't think there's anybody here that isn't happy to see the change in direction of this season, and I think most of us that have had issues with Huger over the past couple seasons have been complimentary over the past month. The OU game, especially, was great coaching as Huger put the starters on the bench so the backups could finish the game where they were clearly the superior unit. I'll give credit where it's due.
