No kidding. We'd be down like 15 without his performance tonight.

Our transition defender looks like s**t. Every time we miss a shot they're getting a great look.

Get your butts back!

BG is down 44-37 at halftime.

Loren Christian Jackson (a kid who is 5'4) has 20 points in the first half against our defense. That's all I need to say.

Then we give up a (actually contested) 3 to finish the half.

Seriously Akron is an awful offensive basketball team but we just have up a 44 point half? Brutal...

The offensive system needs torn up this summer. If we make threes we win. If we don’t we lose

We are missing open looks and Akron can't miss, especially their PG. Yet, only down 7. They will cool off. Just need to take advantage.

In defense of our defensive ability I didn't see them actually trying to stop him. They pretty well let him dribble to wherever he wanted to go on the court and watched him shoot. Disgusting defensive effort in that half. This is happening way too often lately .

Oh and somebody needs to tell Wiggins he is not Plowden. You suck at blocking shots and everytime you try you take yourself out of position for the rebound, which you actually are good at.

Zips shot 63% for the half, including 53% from 3-point. Every team we play shoots the 3 like they never have before or will again.

It would have been contested a lot harder if we had 6'2 Fields or 6'4 Turner on him instead of 5'9 DeAndre Austin.

I like seeing walk-ons get playing time, but not when it doesn't make sense, situationally speaking.

Not necessarily. Just need to eliminate the off balance threes 4 seconds into the possession. Would love just once to see huger call a timeout and chew someone out for one of those bad shots.

Ironically we make our threes when we don't try to rely on them. We don't make them when we try to lean on them.

Been a recurring theme all year too that in games our defense sucks we put up a billion off dribble threes rather than trying to run an offense.
