This might be the most pitiful final two minutes I’ve seen any team play in any sport

At least 6x?

Make that 7. Seriously why is that our inbounds play against pressure!?

This is where we miss Frye.
Nope. Not true. They sputtered down the stretch with him as well. We got to find a way to comfortably close these out. It was a problem with Frye and now without Frye.

Today, the entire MAC learns that BG cannot handle pressure defense. Hugor needs to correct this immediately.

In 2 minutes from a 20 point lead to a 3 point lead according to Todd Walker. Got to find that killer instinct to finish the deal.

Not the first time this has happened. The MAC knows and that's part of the reason Ball St. stormed back because they were confident it was possible.

I learned it 4 years ago. Since Huger arrived (and really under Orr as well) we've been quite awful against zones and full court pressure.

For the life of me I cannot figure out why their actual plan, for at least 7 straight in bounds plays, was to toss it in the corner. He's supposed to quickly pass it back to the in bout see under the hoop, but man that seems like a risky play. And I'd try something else when it fails on like 6-7 straight attempts...

As a fan, all I can say is great road win at a critical time. This team certainly can win close games which is refreshing, but I sure hope we figure out how to stop putting ourselves in these difficult situations in the first place...

Yes, it was a great win and we played 37-38 minutes of very good basketball. I just don't know why we refuse to play a game where we can just dribble out the clock...

At the end of the season this team needs to be a top 4 MAC team that puts together 3 performances good enough to win in Cleveland. At the end of the season it will not matter if this team wins by 3 or 30 in Muncie. At the same time, closing games out would certainly help with the 3 performances good enough to win. Despite frustrating finishes, disappointing loses of games and a player, and differences of philosophies between fans and coaches; this team is still in contention to win it all at the end. It's not going to be easy but it is still possible.

The great news... BG has now clinched (at worst) a home game for the play-in game in the MAC basketball tourney!!! :D

A win is a win, but just going by the box score after the game there were definitely a lot of red flags. It didn't seem like anybody other than Juice is stepping up to make up for Fry's production and only 8 assists?! (and only 2 from non-Turner players?!)
When I close my eyes I still see the Fat Punter!
