The D is bad. We are leaving them wide open. And as always our offense is bad.
Re: vs. Wright State (12/13)
This is how the Kentucky-Notre Dame game started yesterday. UK almost came back and won so here’s hoping we can make a run.
Re: vs. Wright State (12/13)
Getting our teeth kicked in! WSU is shooting 70% and BG is shooting 26% and it's a downright blowout.
GO BG!!!

But this has become down right atrocious

We played a team with length and were exposed.
It's like the coaching staff didn't realize this would happen.

This is a wake call as to how far away we are from competing with a good mid major. Also, what a terrible officiating crew. Good lord.
Re: vs. Wright State (12/13)
Aside from the fact that they are absolutely destroying us, Wright State is a fun team to watch. They just do everything right. At this point I’m just hoping for a few minor wins this game and for them to take this as a wake up call. Sometimes a team needs to get their teeth kicked in.

Attended more games than any responsible student should have.

I am wondering how in the world can we get some size.drumstix2388 wrote:Aside from the fact that they are absolutely destroying us, Wright State is a fun team to watch. They just do everything right. Matiss will help but he is more finesse
Maybe get Gadsen to come back somehow
Maybe talk an Ivy league guy into coming in
Think outside the box. This could be an amazing season

HALFTIME: Wright State 54, BGSU 21
I'm not going to get too down about this game, because it looks a lot like we thought it might - we can't stop their bigs at all, and it's just painful to watch. We have no answer down low, at all.
The good news is that this game really doesn't matter for anything. We can easily still be the best team in the MAC. Can't forget that we just beat Buffalo a week ago. But man, we've got some work to do.
But I think I'm going to tune out of this one. No use banging my head against the wall for another hour watching this performance. We'll have to sit on this for 2 and a half weeks and then get ready for Kent State.

We have a terribly structured team. Turner is great but he’s also a black hole with the ball. Way too much hero ball out of him. The fact that we have not been able to recruit any size sits squarely on our coaching staff’s shoulders. The fact that we cannot create any offense with a small lineup is another nod to a poorly coached team. Huger is just good enough to hang on but will never be good enough to make a tourney run.
Re: vs. Wright State (12/13)
Hard disagree on Turner. I’d argue he isn’t selfish enough until he absolutely needs to be towards the end of close games. It’s not his fault he’s, by far, the best player.Hammer wrote:We have a terribly structured team. Turner is great but he’s also a black hole with the ball. Way too much hero ball out of him. It all comes down to not having a big guy. No one who can guard the post, no one who can rebound no one who can be a threat in the post.

Re: vs. Wright State (12/13)
We don't play another game for 17 days.
Re: vs. Wright State (12/13)
Radio broadcast just mentioned 2 possible games before the KSU game. No details.
