That was an absolute garbage 15+ mins of basketball. Finally they woke up and started hitting some 3s in the last few mins and made one helluva run to make it competitive at the half, but my god was that hideous to watch.

EMU is awful.
EMU has run the same zone for about a decade now.
We spent 15 mins looking like we had no clue what to do to beat that zone. Hell, I'm still not sure we've figured anything out other than if you start hitting a bunch of 3s you score against the zone...

Holy hell what a performance by Metheny. He is all-world right now.

He's 164-152 as a head coach. They did just win 22 games a few seasons ago, and he has 3 seasons with 20+ wins on his resume at EMU, but I'd imagine things are getting stale up there and they could make a leadership change before too long.

I don't know what these officials are discussing, and the announcers sound ridiculous.

The EMU player pushed Fields, and he braced for impact. If you're in the process of being pushed down and you bump someone else, it's the original pusher's fault. Not hard.
