Intentional or not you cannot smack a dude in the head. Right call and I like to see that be the call. Don't want to watch as support where you can smash a guy in the head and have it just be a regular foul

FINAL: Falcons win, 83-71!

First win at Akron since 2009, and we’ve now beaten both of the top 2 teams in the MAC during our current 4-game win streak.

Let’s keep it rolling!

Very nice win. Juice had a much better second half and Fields really broke out.

Good win. Nay, great win

Apparently this team needs road games to play well according to tonight's broadcast. Maybe Huger needs to take the team on a bus trip around town for an hour or two before every home game. Hope they can keep rolling.
I proudly chose to be a Falcon and a Falcon I will remain until the end.

If this team plays at home like just about any other college basketball team picked to win its conference, they'd be completely in control of the league right now. It's a bit mind boggling to think they've done this well on the road and so poorly, overall, at home. That said, I'm very happy with the win and hope it can help springboard them to a MAC tourney title -- as unlikely as that really is.

By the way, the folks in the BG sports communications office apparently do not have a map. In their write up of this contest they mentioned how Swingle had done well "playing close to his hometown of Chillicothe." For those who are directionally challenged, Chillicothe is much closer to West Virginia than Akron (it's located about 60 miles due South of Columbus). I know it seems like I'm picking nits, but as a former reporter/editor, I find mistakes like this to be all but unconscionable.

Not surprising at all considering who runs that department. The Knavel led Sports Info crew has always done the bare minimum and ignored details. “Good enough” should be their motto.

Ahem. Chillicothe is 30 miles south of Columbus. ;)

So I checked Google Maps and from central Columbus to central Chillocothe is 48.8 miles driving. Flying like Superman you may be right.

I eyeballed it from the southern edge of Cbus. Shrug. Either way, falconwriter is fulla dook.

That gonna be your final answer? If so, then the point I was making obviously flew so far over your head you never saw it. So for people like you who obviously are completely slow on the uptake -- my point was simple: Chillicothe is nowhere near Akron, which is what the idiot writer for the BG site was saying.
