The Citadel, New Hampshire, and William & Mary all got bounced from their conference tournaments this weekend. So the list (including Bowling Green) remains at 10.Schadenfreude wrote: ↑Sat Mar 05, 2022 10:19 am There are 358 schools in Division I. Just nine have been trying and failing to get to the NCAA tournament for as long as Bowling Green.
Of those schools, Columbia, Dartmouth, Army, Tennessee Tech, Maine, and St. Francis Brooklyn are definitely not going to be in the tournament this season.
Hope is still alive for:
-- The Citadel, a Southern Conference tournament 9-seed. They will face top-seed Chattanooga today.
-- New Hampshire, the No. 3 seed in the America East tournament. They'll face 6-seed Binghamton tomorrow.
-- William & Mary, which will play in an 8-9 game in the Colonial Athletic Association tournament today against Northeastern.
Maybe next year (for all of us).
