Good road win against a 3-10 team although they made BG look like the Chicago Bulls of the 90's. They play less D than BG. lol. BTW, didn't know Stan Heath was the EMU coach until tonight.
CMU rallied to beat Miami and Ball State beat the turds at Savage by 13. All in all, a good night.

Re: At EMU 1/3
Eastern is young, bad and shot 28% overall and 3-22 from 3, BUT a couple of encouraging signs from BG
- the lineup of Curtis, Metheny, Ayers, Turner and Agee looks to be extremely effective and actually like that 2 of them come off the bench as that lineup consistently produced sparks.
- If Curtis keeps up this pass-first mentality and stops randomly jacking up bad 3s, he's going to make this team a lot better than they've shown to date.

Let’s not get too carried away, EMU is a very bad basketball team currently. Let’s keep it rolling Saturday!
Re: At EMU 1/3
I’m not going to get excited about beating a 3-10 (now 3-11) team. But it’s good that we won.
Keep it rolling, boys.

Wow. That team we beat by 26 on their home floor was the same team that played Michigan to the wire not that long ago.

They also played South Carolina really tough just last week. The common thread is that Emoni Bates was on fire in both of those games, and he was ice cold against us. They go as he goes. Reminds me of Davis on Detroit Mercy.BleedOrange wrote: ↑Thu Jan 05, 2023 11:17 am Wow. Now, what's it going to take for Agee to stay the hell out of constant foul trouble so he can stay on the damned floor?

Glad to see us get back to .500!
Re: At EMU 1/3
They go as he goes isn't accurate. They go IF he goes is. He had no interest in the game in an empty arena against a soft MAC team. Gave zero effort. Was bummed as an opposing fan who wanted to see what the hype was about in person.BillyLP wrote: ↑Thu Jan 05, 2023 1:35 pmThey also played South Carolina really tough just last week.
