Actually looked like halfway decent team for most of the game. A lot of it was just making shots. As Hammb said they knocked down some open looks on the perimeter, but for the most part BG actually finished around rim.
Men’s basketball is so much fun when the team competes hard and makes shots. I’m not holding my breath, but be nice to get some excitement for the 2nd half of the year.

Solid win and nice to be 2-0, but I'm far from sold. OU has had some bad losses this year and I don't think they'll finish in the top half of the MAC. The game against Akron will really be a best measuring stick in a long time for the Falcons, because I don't think the last four games really tell us anything.

Attended more games than any responsible student should have.

For sure it probably was just a fluke. There were certainly some interior finishes in traffics that normally don’t fall that did. Normally the team is unwatchable. At least Saturday there was some compete level and energy where normally they would just fold as soon as OU came back.

I htink it tells us something. it does NOT tell us we are GOOD. But rather, that at a minimum, we are capable of being not dreadful for at least a small run of games.

And honestly, that is already better than i thought we were or would be.

Also, there were a couple lineup changes in there, and some thigns settled on. IT seems to be working well with Mills starting and Curtis coming off the bench with Agee. Those two seem to have some good chemistry. Them doing this and doing well at it speaks to at least a decent attitude about it. Curtis has also been dishing more and heat checking less, which is good.

Wonder if Zips leading scorer will be playing tomorrow night.. they are not nearly as good without him.

OU not nearly the same team since Vander Plas (Virginia) and Sears (Alabama) transferred out.
