Nice to have an experienced professional analyst in Tim McCormick calling the game Does not happen often in BG games nationally as so often they know little about the team and players.

I agree and it felt like they did their homework. Made it a much better experience.

Attended more games than any responsible student should have.

I wouldn’t be shocked to see this team in the MAC title. They’re just a pain to compete against. Hell of a win against those damn folks from Lucas County

Why in the name of All that is Holy would the university pit basketball against hockey?

Did I really understand this right, that they scheduled the games at basically the same time so fans had to choose?

I hope that's not true; students should not have to pick one sport or game over the other. Schedule them at different times. They used to do this. I know because there were plenty of weekends where I'd be going to hockey on Friday night, a basketball game Saturday afternoon and hockey Saturday night...or basketball on Saturday evening and a hockey game on Sunday. It's a wonder I actually got my degree!

The game was moved because ESPNU wanted it on Friday night. Original schedule was for Saturday afternoon.

I would be COMPLETELY shocked.

They would have to beat at least Akron or Toledo on a neutral court to even get there. And playing Akron in Cleveland isn't exactly a neutral environment either. A win over Ohio or CMU would likely also be required.

Tall task for sure.

Yes, another in a long line of absurdities with the MAC TV deal. ESPN reserves the right to change any games from Saturday to Friday night for their national telecast. They have to provide a certain amount of notice (like 2-3 weeks I think), but that's it.

This is why we have a disclaimer when we by our tickets that says game days/times subject to change.
