Bleeding Orange, go back and read my post again. I didn't mention anything on the academic side of the house, i mentioned the Health Center. And as we have heard we are different from other schools, at least in the SEC and I know for sure in the Big 10. Simply put, last year we had a 5% increase in the number of student organizations here at the university which is great, but there was a 15% decrease in the amount of funds for those organizations. Just talk to the people from the radio station, they will tell you how they got screwed. But athletic funding stayed the same. I would see athletics tighten their belts a little like the rest of the university is doing thanks to the a$$holes in columbus that think higher education is just wasting all the money we get from them.F04, do you ever shut up? Seriously. We are no different from any other university, and no, our athletic budget is not magically going to end up funding research professors and grad programs.

I would like to apologize for the threadjacking of this thread.
It started off with a good premise and some very good research, and we've changed the subject entirely!
I don't know what we can do about the attendance, but it is very disappointing. I remember McLeod's senior year (my senior year as well) we started off with some pretty low numbers, but as we continued to win the gym started filling up. There were a number of games that we had to get tickets ahead of time as students, and it was actually warranted, as the place would be full 30 mins before tipoff.
I don't know what (if anything) we're doing wrong now, but it sure would be great to see it return to that level.
