Two MAC teams in the NCAA tournament

ESPN is showing no MAC at-large bid is likely. Sadly, we have this conversation every year, and the MAC almost never gets an at-large bid. I don't believe any team would have gotten an at-large bid this year--even Miami. That's what makes the Gund so exciting.

One last piece of bad news for the MAC. A sportswriter from USA today said that there has been widespread misunderstanding of the new RPI formula (which the NCAA keeps in their secret lock box). The long and short of it: the RPIs for MAC teams probably aren't as high as has been previously reported.

Of course not, Even If if they were that good, the powers that be would make sure they weren't. One day the dream will be acheived and the all ACC, Pac 10, big east, big 12, SEC (and maybe big 10) tournament will be produced. If only basketball had a monoply as good as footballs.
