ESPN is reporting that Adam Kennedy (he is currently a Bearcat Assistant Coach) will be the new UC head coach for the upcoming season. If that is the case it doesn't appear that any dominoes will be falling.

They almost have to promote from within. I'm not sure what that does for the "cleaning house" they seem to want to do, but there you go.

Kennedy is pretty highly regarded in the coaching community as a guy "on the rise." He has been mentioned for several mid-major jobs in the past 2-3 seasons.

Kennedy will more than likely get a one year try-out as I doubt UC will lift the "interim" tag on him and begin a full-fledged search in March. However, if his rep follows him as a solid teacher, he will be THE guy at UC for the time being.
