What are the details of the 2002 men's basketball MAC championship game? Score?

Starters?

Leading scorers?

I don't remember the score, but I seem to recall we kept it close but never really threatened to win. It was against the Antonio Gates and Trevor Huffman led KSU squad that made the elite 8. Our starting 5 was McLeod-pardon-ryan-klassen-Matela. I don't remember who was the leasing scorer in that game specifically but McLeod was our go to guy and MAC poy.

I watched it in Panama City Beach the evening we got there and that's about how I remember it.

We left the game and drove straight through from Cleveland to Panama City Beach. Lol

Love the brown and orange uniforms but hate the design. The bird feather thing never looks good IMO. Decent BG crowd so far.

Need to fix the offensive system but the players are great. His additions of Sierra, Laster and Fields were all great. Down three in the tourney despite our warts. Lets go.

We are playing our asses off and Buffalo has basically said they're not letting Turner and Frye best them on 3s.

Kudos to the team for taking the inside looks and making sure run late.

Buffalo is the best team I've seen in the MAC since first following BG basketball in 2004. Too bad it had to be the same year we put together this run. Things are pointing up. Hopefully the new norm will be top tier of the conference.
