When will MIller be eligible to play this year? Around Christmas time?

I believe he's eligible as soon as the fall semester ends (right before Christmas).

I could be wrong, and he may not be eligible until the spring semester begins (which would be 2nd week of Jan. or so). Either way we'll have him for the second half of the year, and the bulk of conference play.

He really looked like a keeper in the scrimmage last week...pure intensity and he's got great girth/strength. Not the tallest guy around, but uses his size well, from what I saw. Definitely a guy in the mold of Stacey/Gates. Thick Forwards who don't have the height prototypical of their position, but play beyond that height. Hopefully he develops into that quality of player.

Hey guys, based on what you saw at the scrimmage, who looks like the starter at center? Are Matt's feet OK? Can Polk or Larson compete with a healthy Lefeld for significant minutes at center?

In last week's scrimmage Larson was the 3rd guy, and played quite a bit fewer minutes than the other two guys. Polk definitely has a presence down low, but looks VERY raw. He had a real tough time finishing towards the basket when he had the ball. Polk was getting yelled at a LOT for looking at the ball when he should've been setting screens.

If Lefeld is healthy he is definitely the starter at C.

Now I dont know at all but Im deducting this logically. I think it would be when second semester starts because he is different then moten. Moten was strictly grades Miller is a transfer and therefore was never enrolled until 2nd semester started. Either way he will be eligable and in the swing of things during the MAC tourney which is basically the only week of basketball our team needs to be concerned with.

As a transfer, he has to complete a full academic year at BG before becoming eligible. He will meet that requirement immediately at the end of this fall semester.

He does NOT have to wait until he actually starts classes for his second academic year. A transfer simply has to successfully finish the first one.

Friday, 12/15 is the last day of exam week, right? If that's the case, the ass kicking will hopefully commence Saturday, 12/16 in Dayton against the Wrong State Raiders.
