I'm not paying twice. They should make it a double header like they used to do all the time.
It just makes sense. I'd love for both programs to be to the point where clearing the gym and charging again means an extra 10 grand or more for the university, but I don't see it happening, esp. for a women's game vs. Chicago State with campus still empty from break. Not to mention pushing the men's game up to 3pm makes heading out to the hockey arena an easier venture for a nightcap. A huge series with the (former

) #1 team in the country made huger with a Friday night win, and the U. is forcing probably more than a few fans to make a decision.
As a wild marketing idea that seem to pop up at 2:30am so frequently... If you're going to have separate admissions why not reward those that want to attend all three events? Show your bball ticket stubs at the hockey game and get in free. Or $3 or something. Heck, with events stacked like that, it's likely that concessions will feel a bump from folks flowing from one venue to the next.
But what the hell do I know? I'm just a schlub working weekends 3 1/2 hours away.
