after game he sat there for probaby 30-45 mins.. looked like he was going to cry
He probably just lost the "free fries" coupon on the back of his ticket stub, that's all.

All the students that stuck around looked so depressed, and I loved it :-D

THANK YOU! I am glad I was not the only person who thought that as well. I am biased, but he did not do a great job in my opinion
SOOOOOO BAD!!!!! definately favoring Akron.. after each different player scored, he was quick to quote excitedly "Maybe HE'LL be the one to get hot and win this one for Akron!!"

On the other hand, though.. GREAT WIN!!!!!! really showed some great toughness!!

A big question though... WHY ON EARTH WAS MARSCHALL IN THE GAME IN THE LAST MINUTE?????? got beat for 2 offensive rebounds and got driven to the basket (thank god McKnight missed the layup).....

As for Knight... they showed him shooting around before the game.. so at least he's up and around...Hopefully he'll be back for the tourney.
LONG LIVE THE MONGOOSE!!

Who are you going to put in his place? Polk & Marschall are the only big bodies we have left.

Marschall isn't the best rebounder in the world, but at this point we don't have much choice. The depth in our front court is non-existent. Hopefully we'll get Knight back soon.

I'm pretty sure Otis was on the bench on Akron's final possession. I think Matty B was questioning why Marschall was out there if Otis was riding the pine.

Really? That is curious. I guess I didn't notice that, I apologize Matty. I would be inclined to agree I'd rather have Polk out there than Marschall in that situation. The only reasoning I can think is that you're worried about fouls, but Marschall has shown a penchant to be just as foul prone in his college career as OP, so who knows.

Either way we got a huge freaking win and that's all I care about. I've said all along my expectations for this team were not this high, so right now I'm just enjoying all of these big wins as a VERY pleasant surprise. We legitimately have a shot to win the MAC regular season...who would have thought that 6 months ago? We've still got some serious work left @ Miami and then OU is going to want revenge for us beating them at their place.

If we win on Thursday that will make 7 straight MAC road wins. We have a much better MAC road record than home. With that said, if we win on Thursday can we just continue to play on the road!!!

And 10 straight MAC road wins would win us the MACC. (That being 3 straight at the Q)[/b]
