Rumor has it Grant has always been a lover. (Not sure why Tony started that rumor.....)
The rest of us are getting closer to February.

Joe Lunardi has us as a 16 seed in his bracketology on ESPN. I can live with that happening.ZiggyZoomba wrote:It's February... we're in first place.transfer2BGSU wrote:Warthog wrote:We're getting close to February or we're getting close to being lovers?ZiggyZoomba wrote:We're getting there....ZiggyZoomba wrote:Come February all the haters will be lovers....

Whats amazing, is that we have no team figurehead. If I asked ten different fans who the best player on the team was I might get 6 different answers. You have no idea who is going to have a big night each night (That makes it scary when we need a shot too though)
Re: 1-6
I disagree, I think it's clearly Scott Thomas. He leads the team in minutes for a reason. He is our "glue". As far as needing a shot it appears our first two options are Thomas and Calhoun. But, I'll continue to beat the drum for the kind of team we have now: everyone contributes and no prima donnas. Great topic Globetrotter....Globetrotter wrote:Whats amazing, is that we have no team figurehead. If I asked ten different fans who the best player on the team was I might get 6 different answers. Re: 1-6
I guess I agree with that. I would definitely say he was he most important part of the team, but we have no Martin Samarco, Or the recent guy who transferred from UNCW, Or even a Netter. We seemingly have always had a go to scorer, or a lead scorer and that has not helped us find success.Hdog wrote:I disagree, I think it's clearly Scott Thomas. You mean Nate Miller...probably the single best to play for BG since 2005.Globetrotter wrote:Or the recent guy who transferred from UNCW.Hdog wrote:I disagree, I think it's clearly Scott Thomas.
