I blame Bra...I mean Christopher!

Just wait until the place is full! I could tell from being on the floor at the first concert there that it would be a loud building.

I'm sure he'll try and take the credit! Ask some of the Trustees about some of his comments about him trying to take credit for most of the funding!

This is the truth.

I hope I can make it to a few more games. My wife is due next month, so I'll have to see how things are going in late Jan, early Feb. Hopefully they'll have settled for me to be able to sneak out to a weekend game.

BG played really well against Temple except for missing free throws and easy shots! yeah BG won but i was disappointed with the refs and their officiating...it was unbelievable 7 fouls to 1 c'mon...i had some few choice words for the refs that day! it seems to me that most refs have it out for both the men and womens team! it may be just me but i highly doubt it! Officiating is suppose to be consistent and un biased but it is far from it!

I know I may be opening a can of worms with this comment, but it seems to me that we've been seeing MUCH less unfavorable officiating since Orr became our coach. I think it's attributable to (1) Orr's style of play v. Dakich's, and (2) possible resentment among officials due to Dakich's high contentious approach to them.

No, the refs just suck.

Reality is that our guys take a lot of floating finese shots and don't attack the basket like other teams that draw fouls. Add to that we are vey agressive on defense with the hands and we get called for more fouls. I find no real fault with our style of play, although I would like to see us have a couple of guys that can take it hard to the hoop consistantly and score, but we should expect with these two factors that we will likely have more fouls than our opponents.

Let Dakich go....... Wow. New arena, no player on this team played for Dakich. Hell, most of these refs probably see/talk to him more often doing games on ESPN, than any of these refs see BG play. This is the MAC. The officiating had been mediocre long before Dan and will be long after Dan.

I thought the reffing was fairly even. A lack of foul calls went both ways especially in the first half. I tend to like it that way to an extent. The second half was a bit lopsided, but not totally out of line. Temple was driving to the hoop more than BG was.

Compared to the later Dakich years or when Kevin Netter was on the floor, Saturday was nothing.

Making FT's more consistently would be nice to see an improvement on.

The officiating NEVER appears as bad when you don't invest yourself so much into who wins or loses.

FWIW -- Two of the three BG-Temple refs. Weymer and Valentine, did the OSU-Duke game Monday night. I thought the trio at BG-Temple did a good job.
