I could see this team losing to or beating any team in the MAC. They were 100% what they are in good and bad tonight. Lots of steals, lots of turnovers, Aggressive to the basket, forcing shots that are not there. Defense pretty solid at times, tire and make dumb fouls. Offense generates no solid open looks, defense doesn't allow any open looks in the paint.

FWIW I am now in the Clarke is not a point guard camp.

Nice stat line for Holmes 16 PTS (2-2 from 3PT & 4-4FT), 9 REB, 2 AST, 2 BLK.

As was said earlier, sad to see him wasted at BG right now.

That's 7 for 7. Congratulations Lou. 7 straight losing records in the non-conference. Roughly 75 days to go.

Better, I get 67 days.

Do you suppose the team know it too? I see Zack Denny had a good game again.

Might as well redshirt him and anyone else who hasn't played more than 1 game this season, and all the walk-ons. Maybe Shaun can start.

While that seems like a good idea, I'm not sure we want his recruits having that much eligibility left.

That was a dreadful game. Just ugly, ugly, UGLY!!! Turnovers, missed shots, fouls, Orr pacing the sidelines without a damn clue, just pathetic.

BG went 2-15 from three and it was our forward Holmes who hit both of them. We make shooting a three look like we're trying to hit a half-court shot. And it's been like that for years now under Orr.

The finish really sucked when they kept splitting free throws and I knew we still wouldn't be able to come back because we don't have anybody with more than a prayer to hit threes.

IPFW improved to 11-5 with its first-ever road win over a Mid-American Conference team ... IPFW is 5-22 all-time against MAC teams, with three of the wins coming against Bowling Green. Yep, that about sums it up.

The sweatsuit squad won't be around next year. I can just picture Orr giving his marathon v. sprint pep talk after the game.
