Buffalo
Re: Buffalo
Huger has been stealing money since he started here. His coaching was never going to win the MAC. If anything 2018-2019 showed that if and when Bowling Green ever got it’s s**t together, they could pack the arena for teams like Buffalo and Toledo. Instead, Rec Center Bob did what idiot ADs do. They lock themselves into something that only benefits the coach.
He isn’t the only one stealing money. It’s just part of the BGSU athletics gig. No standards, tweet a lot, consistently make decisions selfishly to help your own career. Kit Hughes provided a masterclass on self promotion and leaving a steaming pile of s**t behind. He learned from the best Chris Kingston. Meanwhile, Rec Center Bob is left totally unqualified trying to put out a fire with a squirt bottle.

Re: Buffalo
While I agree with your overall point that there are major problems with the men's basketball program, I find it ironic that your username is guest44, when Bob is actually the guest, living rent-free in your head. You seem obsessed with Bob and Kit. Kit's gone, Kingston's gone. According to you, Bob will be gone soon. Take a walk. Read a book. Step away from the laptop for a while.guest44 wrote: ↑Wed Feb 16, 2022 9:45 am Huger has been stealing money since he started here. His coaching was never going to win the MAC. Re: Buffalo
We haven’t been to a game in weeks. Our son goes to bed before 8:00, so any 7:00 games are out. I watch on TV, but I didn’t watch last night and I’m glad I didn’t. I’m thinking that we may only catch one final game this year and travel to Toledo for the Dina game of the year. My wife is a UT grad, so we try to make every rivalry game. It’s just a shame that the result is already known before we enter the arena.
ROLL ALONG!!!
Re: Buffalo
That Toledo game is on my birthday. If it were a season where we legitimately had something to play for, we would’ve gone for sure. Instead, we’re going to see the Walleye that night instead.footballguy51 wrote: ↑Wed Feb 16, 2022 11:41 am We haven’t been to a game in weeks. I don’t want to go into their building and get embarrassed. We already know it’s going to happen, so for me, it’s kind of just a question of why watch? Why care? Why travel to support the team?

More name calling from someone who never has anything good to say about Bowling Green athletics.
Does anyone want to step up and moderate this place?

Re: Buffalo
In all fairness....there really aren't a lot of "good things to say" about BGSU athletics at least so far as the revenue sports go

Re: Buffalo
It's ONE thing to have a bad offensive scheme and play below expectations.
This loss, however, is altogether different. It's obvious that the players have checked-out on the season, and possibly Hugor as a coach.
It'll be no fun seeing who shows up in the transfer portal. We'll be mailing it in for the next couple weeks.

Re: Buffalo
Huger's presser last night was just him throwing his arms up. He's out of ideas basically saying the players all know what needs to happen to win, it's up to them if they want to or not.

Guest44 is hilarious when we suck and don't have anything to talk about but I will die on the hill that under no circumstances does Guest get to partake in any sort of celebrating when we are good. As long as we can all agree with that, I say guest stays.
The fact that he's up at 4am just hammering the entire athletic department is hilarious enough in itself. Sad/pointless, of course. Funny though, absolutely.

Re: Buffalo
Jokes aside i think this in itself is a summary of the season and a perfect representation of where the team is at this current point. He couldn’t get the team to gel in non conference play, never adjusted once we got to conference play, now it’s just a throw your hands up in the air and admit you don’t have the answers. It’s just too bad. We deserve better.
