Yes, black is edgy and powerful and all the cool kids are doing it.

Don't care.

We are not the Cincinnati Bengals. We are not orange and black. We are orange and brown.

Going back to 1976 when I started attending games, we've barely used brown. It was white for home (orange trim always, brown with it sometimes) and orange for the road (white trim with it, brown sometimes).

But black?

GTFOH.

Yeah, I hate the black thing, too.

And, it isn't even edgy anymore. The black trend started in the 90s and infected baseball and basketball unis. The trend has stuck around. Our black uniforms were the ugliest I've ever seen at BG.

Black (and gray) are strictly for recruiting because kids think it looks cooler than brown. That’s the only reason for it.

I love the orange and brown. But I’d wear pink and purple if it was going to help us win games - now it’s time for the coaching staff to figure out how to stack Ws.
LOL - fair enough. Could be that hypercolor confetti that they were putting on shoes a few years back that looked like clown vomit. If it meant a competent program that was a real threat to go to the dance at least once every 4 years (and actually freaking MADE IT every once in a while) then I'm down.

The court was designed by BG Athletics in-house designer, Mallory Hiser. She has done really terrific work with her branding and design on uniforms, ads, social media, etc. And she's a BG grad! Props to our graphic design program, and props to athletics on keeping such a big project internal.
Use that Falcon Talent. We have had, and continue to have, talented artists, musicians, video editors, vocalists and others. Any time we can feature one of our own it connects the university. The work I've seen from Mallory Hiser on Twitter is impressive.
I proudly chose to be a Falcon and a Falcon I will remain until the end.

Well, please pass along our compliments to Mr. Hiser for her damned fine work. :)
