Good points...probably not fair to view today's reality through yesterday's lens

Mills has committed to Vermont. Best of luck to him.

I think coach Simon has some solid guards coming in. If Lightfoot and Curtis stay as I assume they will we should be fine. I predict one or two Southern Utah players will be Falcons soon.

I saw a tweet today that had a few pictures including one of Agee. My take from that is, I guess maybe he's pulled out of the portal? I can't imagine they'd use an image of a guy who wasn't going to be here, and it appeared to be a new one from some drills being done in the Stroh Center. That would be some good news as I think he was clearly being misused under Huger. It made me think of the difference from one year to the next in how Orr was using Richaun Holmes compared to what Jans did with him. I felt Orr missed the boat big time with Holmes, but Jans got the most out of him. If Agee is indeed back, I would expect to see a different version of Agee from what we saw last year.

Burwell from the Blade tweeted today that Agee had withdrawn from the portal

Great news that Agee is back. I think he has first team potential.

Simon will essentially be returning 3 starters all Srs, and will have 3 sophomores. Not a bad way to start building a team. Lets go!

Agee and Towns will be Juniors with 2 years eligibility left. Curtis is the loan Sr.right now. While Lightfoot and McCombs are Sophs, Felt is a RS Fr.

Interesting...I also saw that tweet. However, when I just went to look for it, I can't find it. My first thought was...are the coaches allowed to be on the floor with players yet??? I wonder if they aren't so they pulled it???

Simon's first and possibly most important recruit is getting Agee back from the portal

The rule used to be that you could have 2-3 players at a time for individual work but not the whole team. Thaymay be what was going on. Same general rule for a lot of the sports

Keeping Agee is a huge win. There's a lot potential with towns and agee which will allow Simon to focus on adding talent to the 1 to 3 positions. Overall the transfers we lost and kept have been a win. Kept our freshman and talented bigs. Etim, mills, and Metheny are replaceable.

Still waiting patiently for new recruit news. Anywhere to follow for a non Twitter user?

If you don’t use Twitter, I’d follow the orangeandbrown blogspot account. He posts the news pretty quickly, and he also has a Twitter feed down the left hand side of his blog that has a bunch of updates,
