That is Samantha Basting, who does the extra features on the Football and Basketball Coaches shows on Fox. She's very nice and seems to gravitate to the Freaklings at games. And yes, she is a hottie.

Sam does a great job.

According to the NCAA rules concerning backboard
First the face of the backboard needs to be 4 ft from the base line. Then....

Rule 1- 11: Backboards - Support Systems

Art. 2. Protrusions and Clearances

c. Any support system below or behind a backboard shall be at least 8 feet behind the plane of the backboard face and a height of 7 feet or more above the floor.

Which means you could use something like the Hydra-rib HR1000/HR1025
which requires an area 10'9" behind the baseline. The product specs also state that the anchorage and backboard size meets NCAA regs.
