In a previous post, I mentioned the need to get a shooter/scorer with ONE of the scholarships available...seems that it has been accomplished with the JC kid...but I worry honestly about shooting % etc. at JC level, since they don't seem to play as much defense at that level as he'll find in D-1....that said, can't believe we've also lost Vandermeer, who I thought looked pretty good for a young big guy and a surefire shotblocking talent, especially by this Jr. year.

Got to admit I'm at a loss to understand what's happening with these kids leaving...you can only go so far with, "they're momma's boys" etc. Some pretty talented players have left this program in past few yrs. and maybe it's time we found out WHY it's happening...seems like Dakich's "return" from WVU has not resulted in the same quality teams that we were used to prior to that move.
