What I hate about Chicago is the Bulls. Anytime I try to moan about how crappy the teams have been historically, someone has to bring up the Bulls of the 90's, and well there goes the argument.

BTW, the White Sox still suck, regardless of the outcome of last season.
Well, that makes one person in the Windy City that hasn't jumped on the White Sox bandwagon. I went to a White Sox vs. Diamondbacks Spring Training game over the weekend and I was disgusted by the number of people there wearing obviously brand new, never worn before White Sox crap. As I told a friend of mine, prior to last year, and even throughout most of the season, the White Sox had roughly 30 fans to their credit. God, I absolutely abhore frontrunners... And then I had to suffer through all of the morons at the bars that night pretending that they have been lifelong fans of Duke or UNC. Needless to say I got really, really drunk. :smt045

Tell me about it -- Has anybody else seen the number of Steelers flags, jackets, and hats around this area lately? These people sicken me.

I also notice that I'm basically alone in my Bulls fandom these days. I remember 10 years ago everybody and their brother was a Bulls fan. Nature of the beast I suppose.

Yeah, I didn't even mention all of the Steelers crap that people have all of a sudden started wearing here in the desert. Funny how that wasn't the case prior to roughly Feb. 8 or so.

And no, its not the nature of the beast. Its the nature of douchebags. Ask TG - he knows all about it.

Yep. And the combined total number of championships won by the Browns, Whalers/Hurricanes, Cavs and Texas Rangers in my lifetime equals what???

I clearly am not a douchebag. Clearly.

Dan won't quit. Not in his DNA. He's the last guy who is going to resign.
It was in his DNA when an apparent better opportunity FOR HIM presented itself a few years ago. Is he not going to resign because it's now not the best thing FOR HIM?

Um, duh.

Big difference between taking what you perceive to be a step up in your career versus walking away from a contract with nothing but the end of the couch waiting for you.

That's my point. Is he being selfish by staying, or does he really think him staying is what's best for the program?

I didn't mean to imply that you were a douchebag, but rather, that you are, what I consider to be, the resident expert on douchebaggery - our eminent Douchebagologist, if you will. I mean, hell, its not just anyone who gets their words in my signature! :smt026

Ah, I hear ya now. (Duh! )

I think only one person can truly answer that question, and I don't think he's gonna be posting here anytime soon...
