LOL...yeah...I was really asking when the bird will arrive. I check the web cam every morning in hopes of seeing a sign that it is close to being installed.

It'll be quite a spectacle... it's been forged already, and will be trucked from the artist in Southern California to BG along I-80 the whole way, I'd assume. My friends in Nebraska are on alert!

Kinda hard to tell how far it will be away from Wooster, but it looks to be in the general area of where they are pouring the concrete.

Also, they appear to be done pouring now and there is a fairly large slab there with a bunch of re-bar sticking up that could be to hold more concrete...or a huge falcon bronze bird!

The Belk Family (whose foundation donated the money for the Falcon statue) is from North Carolina.

The artist is Jon Hair from Charlotte, NC. His studio is just north of Charlotte on Lake Norman.
