I think 86-69. No, you missed the leading NCAA scorer going off for 39 points, you missed Erger playing about 17 minutes. You missed the Crawford 3-point miss show, and the seniors going out with a whimper.

Ya know, under Dakich I we had Dayon dismissed from the team, and a losing season with Dakich complaining that Larranaga left the cupboard bare, etc.
I'd like the new coach to pull a Dakich I and dismiss a couple of the players, well one in particular, and we'd be praising him. I'm deathly afraid that Erger will be a starter next year if Orr continues as HC.

Why did Erger play so much? Nobody knows. Usually when you are playing against teams that score really well, you would like to have as many scorers on the floor as possible. Lou must have thought Erger was going to shutdown Oakland with his tenacious zone defense, as he watched three after three drop.

So glad I didn't think about watching this game tonight. It was far too gorgeous outside to be inside watching this shitty team lay another egg...this time in a meaningless postseason tournament.


Even still I can't believe that James effing Erger played 17 minutes in a Division 1 basketball game. What in god's name is the point of that? He is right there with Dusan as one of the worst players I've ever seen wear a BG uniform. Seriously, Orr needs to GO. He can't go quick enough for my liking at this point...because I know we're going to be seeing a steady dose of Kraus & Erger next year and we'll just be unwatchable with those stiffs on the court.

I can't even hypothesize why Sealey and Clarke combined see half the minutes of Erger at this point in the season. This is so exasperating, unexplainable, and fiercely disappointing I can't begin to find the words. Again, this program is such a cluster under Orr that it isn't worth my or anybody's emotional investment.

BG will be lucky to average 1,000/game in home attendance next year if Erger and Kraus start or are in the main rotation. Yet, at least early on, they will need to be because Sealey, Clarke, and Henderson gained such little experience this year.

You nailed it with Sealey and Clarke. If there were any 2 guys on the team who should be seeing more and more minutes its those two. Yet their roles diminish. My guess is that Sealey has something off the court keeping him off the court during games. If I were him I would transfer. 2 years to go and I am clearly one of your top 7 players and I play 4 minutes.

I was going to look up to see who Erger was on line to replace. Sid Rodeheffer was a choice, he had only 32 points in 2 years, but in his 3rd year he scored way too many points (123) for Erger to even catch him.

So, here's the link. Maybe someone with more time on their hands can establish a career watch to find a seriously bad 3 or 4 year player with stats close to Erger.
