Got to redo this for a couple reasons.

First, the bigman I looked up is the best of the bunch. his offers are not that great which is surprising. It would be amazing to swoop in and nab him. I think he is an instant starter at C or PF and that would be a sell. He might even be the primary focus of our offense, another sell. Plus he plays very similar to a bigman that we just sent to the NBA. He would be an absolute steal.

Second, re-ordering the roster a bit with the success of the playoff run.

Mocking an offseason. Need another big, a leader and a glue guy who makes everything run well and a superstar.

3 spots, if there were only 3 spots.

1. Kavell-Bigby Williams 6-10 225 13.8rbg 5.9bpg 17.1ppg
http://www.verbalcommits.com/players/ka" target="_blank ... y-williams

He is the best guy I have seen. Very surprised that he isn't singed somewhere big. Leads the Juco ranks in both blocks and boards.

2. Jon Brown 6-6 Miami SG
http://www.verbalcommits.com/players/jonathan-brown" target="_blank
http://www.maxpreps.com/athlete/jonatha" target="_blank ... -stats.htm

Found a new video. Apparently this is Kenny Anderson's nephew. His release on his shot is low and slow, everything else looks really good. Doesn't look like he's playing near his talent level though. I said I didn't want guards but this guy is special and 6-6. Could play 3 spots for us. He reportedly also has a 3.8 gpa and high SAT numbers. Columbia has interest. Averaged 26pts, 11rbs and 10assists.

2016-2017
1 Ali Sr-Caldwell Fr-Frye Fr
2 Lillard So-Denny Sr-Malik So
3 Alcegaire-Sr-Brown R
4 Wiggins So-Worrell So
5 Bigby-Williams JR-Mayleben Jr

Mark Kostelac 6-11 250 Chadron

http://www.hudl.com/athlete/2334934/mark-kostelac" target="_blank

Just added this video. Got to like a 275lb guy who can do a 360. He might be high risk with a foot injury and potential growing up to do but his upside is very high.

He is a leaper who would attack the basket aggressively. Beyond that I am not sure.

Got to see Wesson play last night. Along with his younger bro a OSU commit and his opponent Ibi Watson a Michigan Commit. The latter two were fantastic. Wesson 2 will be an outstanding post for OSU. He is a very good athlete for his size 6-9 275 but not a good athlete overall because of his size. He will have a great career at OSU. He has giant hands, nice touch around the basket and range to the 3 point land. Ibi Watson has Big Ten player of the year written on him. Agressive great athlete at 6-5 and tremendous hops.

Andre Wesson was just ok. He hit 2 threes and had 13 points but he wasn't discernible from the other 4 starters. He has an awkward running style and while he put down a dunk doesn't seem overly athletic. If I had to guess I would say this is a guy we would be happy if he doesn't accept that offer, if it's still on the table. I had assumed he would eventually get an OSU offer. I really doubt that's true. It's just one game, but he was just another guy when I saw him.
Got to watch Wesson again. Much of the same. He stuffed the stat sheet but still played the same. Solid on defense despite athletic limitations. He can shoot from the outside. I don't think he would ever be anything more than a rotational backup here.

Nope. The first guy has no connections to us and is a long shot. I bet he ends up at a major. The other three are either Ohio or Miami guys.

If you're talking about A. Wesson's performance in the state semi-final I think you're way off. I think he has above average athleticism, his block on WIllie Jackson was one of the most athletic moves I've seen this weekend. He has the quickness to guard wings but the frame to guard a post as well. He consistently plays above the rim and shoots above 40% from 3. Dambrot, Kowalczyk, Stacey, Matta, and Boals were all there watching his game. I've heard OSU is high on him but doesn't have a scholarship available for him. He would be an ABSOLUTE STEAL for us.

Everybody should watch the Lima Senior, Westerville South game tonight. It's the most athleticism that has been on the same floor down here in years.

It doesn't mention it on his profile but I also heard from someone down here that would know, that we are close on Tervell Beck of Cleveland CC. Maybe he likes what Twon Lillard was able to do this year for us.

I've seen him play twice and that's just not true. He runs hunched over and awkward and he has to slowly collect himself with every move he makes. Youre right he made that play and he also had a nice dunk and he can shoot. He's just not a fluid athlete.

Take a look and decide for yourself. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=IbaRSQ3XCwM" target="_blank

I see a guy that looks lumbering compared to guys he'd play. He's not a great athlete for a small forward.

Also all the coaches were there but so was Joey Galloway etc. it's an event to meet up for some of them. He's not unathletic. Just not a special athlete.

I think I might be thinking about this wrong. A couple people said that he should be getting high major offers. I don't see him playing at OSU at all. He isn't that type of player. He doesn't have the athleticism. But if we want a 6-7 glue guy who can shoot from outside, rebound, pass and do the dirty work and make a lot of players around him better he can be that. I think he won't ever be a star even at the mid major level but he can be a capable starter or rotation player. He's played with talent and just won a state championship after being the runner up last year so he will b used to that. I think my take is just a product of what I think are inflated expectations for him.

Tervell would be great. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3GL_YyAuKg8" target="_blank. I hadn't put 2 and 2 together and saw that he played with Lillard in HS. Apparently Lillard also has a 6-6 little bro who was a JR this year. Not sure how he did.

He apparently has Dayton, UNLV and Pitt offers but they look dated.

This says Xavier has offered. http://247sports.com/Recruitment/Tervel ... tInterests" target="_blank

I have seen his height anywhere from 6-5 to 6-8. I think he has best player on the team ability.

Here is a really interesting guy who might fit us perfectly. Lacey James a former Rider commit in 2015 who transferred out after the first semester there. He would have been recruited by Coach Noon I think. 6-9 225. 3 and 1/2 years of eligibility left.

Lacey James 6-9 225 Wayward Michigan, Rider

Another Redo

Wanted to switch it up with the 3 big men that are talked about in the last few posts.

3 spots, if there were only 3 spots.

1. Tervell Beck 6-6 Cleveland SF Offers from UNLV and Pitt
http://www.verbalcommits.com/players/tervell-beck" target="_blank
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AI6Pn4kWfyM" target="_blank
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3GL_YyAuKg8" target="_blank

He would be a great get. Anywhere from 6-5 to 6-8. Looks like a really nice all around player who could play anywhere from the SG to PF dependent on his real height. Teammates with Lillard in HS.

2. Andre Wesson 6-6 Columbus, Westerville HS
Offers: Duquesne, Illinois St, George Mason, Northern Kentucky, UT Martin, Akron, Toledo
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mewOG5G0ubQ" target="_blank
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IbaRSQ3XCwM" target="_blank

He would be a nice get. I think he isn't really an explosive athlete but he is a very good all around player. Can shoot, defend, pass and has power. I've seen him listed anywhere from 6-5 to 6-7 but think he is a true SF.

3. Lacey James 6-9 225 Wayward Michigan, Rider
http://www.verbalcommits.com/players/lacey-james" target="_blank

Big who was a Rider recruit but left after his first semester. Is from Michigan and likely has a connection to Coach Noon and maybe Coach Rowe. Would have 3 1/2 years of eligibility.

2016-2017
1 Ali Sr-Caldwell Fr-Frye Fr
2 Lillard So-Denny Sr-Malik So
3 Alcegaire-Sr-Wesson Fr
4 Worrell So-Beck Fr
5 Wiggins So-James Fr(xr)-Mayleben Jr

2017-2018
1 Caldwell So-Frye So
2 Lillard Jr-Malik Jr
3 Beck So-Wesson So
4 Worrell Jr-James So
5 Wiggins Jr-Mayleben Sr

My favorite things about Wesson and Beck is how we played Alcegaire and Parker this year. There isn't any reason those 2 couldn't play together for a long time.

I reeeeaaaallly like Wesson, I guess we'll see what Coach Huger is made of because i think Akron and Toledo really want him too and given recent history we probably don't beat them out.

Even though we haven't offered him I think Beck is becoming a better possibility due to some attitude issues, he'll score 30 one game and will be non existent the next. Could be nothing to it, but I hope the rumor is true, he's a Big Ten level talent.
