Nah. Only reason Kingston has to check his phone constantly is to see if those rat Tillers and their daughter who thinks she important when she's really not are trying to blackmail him anymore.

Now, let's be fair to the Tillers. Since Uncle Joe coached football at Purdue, his extended family has the right to shoot cell phone video and tell others how to act in public. It's Joe Tillers nephew. Oh, and BG should have recruited the daughter to play volleyball, and the son to play goalie. I mean what D1 hockey program isn't looking to Maumee HS for its' next goalie?

I guess I'm just a little skeptical of a guy who emails the BGSU AD at 3am, after a night in the BG bars. I mean I know we all have regrets walking out of those bars at 3am. I was generally more focused on Myles Pizza than cellphone videos. I also am a little skeptical of a guy who thinks his son should start at goalie over Andrew Hammond. While I'm sure he might have been the Patrick Roy of Maumee HS, I'll probably side with coach here. Oh, and then you have the part where young Patrick Roy was dating the Reverend's employee.

None of that matters...none of it.

Correct. Once Jans was on video trashed in a bar. His career was toast. However, it does further explain the rational for taking cellphone video of anyone.

And Chris Kingston had from the day he was hired, with lots of money waiting, to find the next coach of BGSU Men's basketball. This was his choice. And if yesterday was any indicator of what's to come, he might have whiffed twice. One off the court, one on. But, credit the University for letting him stick around long enough to see his mess in Spring game form. Then poof he is gone.

We all know Chris Kingston is not the AD here, right??

Were mistakes made, of course (Talons Up as a marketing slogan only because you don't like AZZ anyone...). But can we let the new guy have a bit of time to get a plan together and make some changes?

It might be time to look out the front of the bus instead of the rear view mirror.

Well of course. However, look at the contract status of most of the major coaches, all selected or extended by Kingston. If BG has no money, like is always claimed, what changes can be made if these hires continue the current trajectory. BG generally doesn't fire. If Kingston had like 18 months to find Jans, and he needed to fire him 11 months later because of a cellphone video in a bar, what the hell does he get a re-do for? Did BGSU research Kingston at all prior to letting him select the next basketball and football coach? Did they even question his decision making? How is everything just business as usual after something like that. And that's without discussing the embezzlement situation from the Stroh. Then to leave in April, and the football program look like that, is just icing on the cake. The new AD might have to change his fundraising pitch to straight buyout claims. Talk about a crappy entry point. I know this is all rear view mirror. But to understand what is ahead, someone better look at what the hell just happened.

I think we're all aware of the situation the University is in financially. Kingston is no longer an AD because he was probably aware that he wasn't very good at being an AD. The current guy has his work cut out for him cleaning things up

I think we're good with Huger, Jinks appears to be a good recruiter and he did something Dino never did here as a HC...he admitted he was wrong and altered his tactics. I think he's going to do well here, but it's going to be at least another year before we really know. We're stuck with Roos for a bit. Tennis and women's soccer have been disaster zones.

I find it humorous when Kingston was hired we all were extremely happy. Then when Jan's was hired we all praised Kingston. We loved his enthusiasm and that he was driving a Falcon Orange pickup truck. Everyone liked his military background. Many were claiming he was our best A.D especially after our previous A.D. bolted for Xavier. Now everyone is throwing him under the bus. Just stop already. Kingston is no longer here.

Exactly, he is no longer here. He made some decisions and hires especially the past year of his time here that will hurt BG going forward. During much of that time, he was seeking his next move. IMO, that started with the Jans situation. He wasn't the same after. If you were one of the people leaving the Stroh yesterday, you weren't convinced about anything Huger related. It felt oddly familiar. BG has a new AD, Kingston's people, and ALOT of work to do. I'll move on still amazed at how a cellphone video can change the course of history, yet say so much about a program and its' lack of winning. Only at BGSU. I'm done, back to enjoying beautiful NW Ohio weather.

This video obsession of your's is...odd.

I like Huger..he took over a roster that sucked. I don't think it's realistic to expect him to turn it over in one year or even two.

Ya, I just cringe at the idea of someone taking video of someone (high profile) unknowingly in public places, just to use against them.

True. Don't do it. Can I add a lyric. Don't expect to play in net, if you played at Maumee High. Pops, don't send it. Ok, I'm gone for real now.
