I don't think searching people at the door is a solution. Fitch wasn't shot or stabbed, he was folded, spindled and partially mutilated by an apparently porcine student who took it upon himself to trod upon Germain.
We could go to an IQ test as a means of checking the crowd. We'd have a smarter bunch in the stands and it would virtually eliminate all UT students from the building.

It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.
So what if I told you I knew the kid who "jumped on" Fitch's back? I just found out tonight that one of my friends chest bumped him, he stumbled over towards the bench, and Cory caught him. There was no jumping on the back. If you actually watch the game film, you will see this clearly.

Yeah...when he told me I yelled at him but he already felt bad.bacn3 wrote:Metz, i think i know who you are talking about. Did he have on glasses that he tried to give to the ref?

With this kid, there was no beating. He never misses games and has been going to them longer than me. It was a freak accident no one can control...GoFalcons4 wrote: So did you yell at him before or after you beat him up? Or better yet, before, during, and after the beating.

Don't drag the Freak into this!!! He was sitting waaaaay up inthe stands!
Anyway, the kid could have controlled it by staying OFF THE COURT, but I must admit, when I saw the students rush the floor I thought "hey, that looks like fun", so I won't pass any judgements.
Well, I will pass one...Stan Joplin is a lousy coach and he's a bit on the ugly side

Speaking of Stan....Flipper wrote:Well, I will pass one...Stan Joplin is a lousy coach and he's a bit on the ugly side
The biggest peeve of mine at the game on Saturday was Joplin sitting in the stands during warm-ups and our students not talking to him. They should have been hounding him the entire time he was sitting up there talking to that lady.
