I couldn't even listen to that game after awhile though. I didn't know we had a Brian Mountain on the team. How hard is it to read their names right from the programs/media guides/etc.?!

I just got home from the Kent game. I took my 4 year old daughter. That was the charm!

A big key to this game was BG's ability to continue scoring, whatever way they could, down the stretch.

The game was over-officiated, but evenly over-officiated. Marschall had two good looking blocks that were called as fouls.

Kent has no inside scoring presence to speak of. Wawrzinski gets his mainly at the foul line and the three point line. Not that good, really. He had nice number tonight because he got a lot of touch by exploiting Matt and Erik's foul trouble.

There was a major altercation between the two teams after the game. I had no idea what it was about, but both squads and coaching staffs were involved and things were very loud and physical.

That's a shame. It was a nice win for our team. You shoot free throws like that, you're tough to beat. We've lost some close ones, nice to win a close one. Hopefully, we can continue to improve and gain confidence.

No, I'm sure that one is all TG. The one I came up with a long time ago is: "AY ZIG, BITCHES!!!!!!" 8)

I can't believe we won at Kent!!! A little birdie told me they would today. I laughed at said birdie. Good little birdie...

We haven't won anything of consequence yet...but HUGE win on the road...just HUGE.
With all due respect, hammb (and you are due a great deal of respect, in my opinion), this was a win of consequence. Not one among us - admittedly even myself - gave us even a fleeting chance of winning this game. When even our own fans had become so pessimistic about this team that they refused to give us even a fleeting shot against KSU, yes, this was a win of consequence.

Yes, there are going to be a lot of people that jump on the bandwagon with myself and Metz, now, but, I still maintain that this is a very dangerous, and capable TEAM.

Well said BO, i know i didnt give us a chance to win and i said that we would be lucky to win just one of our upcoming 4 games coming into last night, but now i see that we can win another and possibly a third. I truly believe that OU is a bit overrated and not just because me and kitty cat go at it all the time. but i will be willing to be that if we play like we did at Kent against OU, were gonna beat up on those kitties.

Our own announcers shouldn't even need the media guide to pronounce our own players' names. They do the same thing with women's b-ball. I vented in the women's forum about it but who knows if that'll do any good.

Frustrating....

But hey! -- great win by the Falcons last night. I listened to the game ready to be pissed off. Granted, I did get pissed off when we continued to foul them on every possession in the second half, but our offensive execution and FT shooting kept us out in front. We withstood the big Kent run that everyone could just feel coming. We never let it happen. Great win.

And to the Roll along bitches thing -- I had a favorite saying that I put on a sign when you could make your own in NCAA football. It simply read:

Ay-Ziggy-Zoomba.

Bitches.

For some reason I always found that visually hilarious. I guess it reminded me of the Prince skit from Dave Chappelle.

Yeah... I'm not one to gloat on predictions coming true... I just felt good about this game all day yesterday. Wish I could have gotten to the MAC to see it.
