Why torture yourself? You know we won't have a full roster this year and you know guys will transfer next spring. :-) ...
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.

Great question. I am fine with guys transferring. I am hoping it's no one that is on the current roster.

Tomorrow is I guess technically signing day...3 more offers to go. Recent interest had us tied to a Grad Transfer 2 Guard and the PG we just signed. I am hopeful we fill atleast 2 spots with some more long term solutions.

Drew Peterson going to Rice. We had offered. 4 offers remain 2 that I deem possible 1 likely 1 unlikely.

Have to love the comments from Huger on Laster. He might just start. If he is as good as advertised he replaces what Caldwell had pretty well outside of the shooting.

"I am excited to welcome Michael Laster to our family. Michael had a terrific season at Central Georgia Tech, which gained a lot of national attention. As a true point guard, his ability to penetrate and find the open man is a skill that will make everyone on the floor better. Michael will bring experience, toughness and a winning attitude to our program. Averaging nearly a triple-double this past season, Michael has shown an ability to impact the game in a variety of ways. When my staff and I first saw him, we saw a player that would create a lot of scoring opportunities. Not only for himself, but also for guys like Dylan, Justin, Antwon and Demajeo. He knew each one of his teammate's strengths, how to get them involved and he elevated all of their games. We are excited to add that type of floor general to a talented group of returning players."

If he can actually facilitate on offense he absolutely SHOULD start. It's been awhile since we've had a PG that can do that.

Frankly, I saw little in first 5 minutes or so, other than he didn’t look to be 6’1”. Hope he’s as good as Huger is “advertising “.

Yeah I can't bring myself to watch an entire juco game. Jumped around a few times and didn't really see anything noteworthy. Got to the rim a few times but didn't finish any that I saw. Didn't see any great passes either.

I struggle when I am watching a Juco game, or HS game, and I can't tell who the obvious recruit was. He had a couple nice passes, mostly when the post had position. Nothing that said he was some going to be a solid distributor or anything. His best trait was probably his aggressiveness to the basket and finishing in traffic. when someone bodied him. It's just one game but seems like just a guy. I watched videos of about 3 or 4 other juco guys we showed interest in that were just as good.

LOL, he also adds in a sleeve and some cool tattoos. It's like we are creating a player in NCAA 2018.
