Hard to guard Sullinger when they set illegal screens.

Kent State is 11-16 from three. They are just ripping our heart out in the process. They are getting beautiful looks, including some off inbound plays. Sullinger is killing us again just like he did in the regular season matchup. They’re just outplaying BG in most phases, and are better prepared. Those inbound plays alone boil down to coaching and execution, and they’re just better.
GO BG!!!

It’s 70-57 with 90 seconds left. Heck of an effort, and this has been a fun season, but it’s coming to an end tonight. Would be cool if they got a CBI invite or something, but I can’t imagine they will.

The future is bright in the Simon era.

Also, side note - the chase down block from Sourgin was awesome. That hustle exemplifies the change our culture has undergone this season. Things will be different, and soon.

Simply got beat by a much better team. Still feel great about where the program is headed. Year two will tell us everything.

The change in culture is clear and refreshing

56-year NCAA Tournament appearance drought
45-year MAC Tournament title drought
10-game Kent State drought

Crushing ending to a good season…
GO BG!!!

Launching a three at the buzzer? Stay classy Kent.

Always sucks to end the season in the Mac tournament. Fun season and a lot of progress made. Hopefully we can run it back with hill, Agee, and spurgin

Who is shocked that it was Sullinger? Anybody? I strongly dislike that guy.

Kent won the MAC last year, they’re in the championship this year, and only 2 of their 8 rotation players are seniors. Strong program, man. Gotta figure out a way to beat good teams like that to raise our level.

2 phantom fouls on Agee early put us on our heals and we’re in desperate need of a big hitter outside the arc who play like Kent’s shooters. On to recruiting season with some needs. Enjoyed the season, solid team, but we need our guards to be consistent outside.
I proudly chose to be a Falcon and a Falcon I will remain until the end.

I would say we greatly overachieved for a team that can’t shoot.

Sure that was the game plan by Kent, to get Agee in foul trouble early, to limit his playing time. Saw that earlier in MAC play.

I don't think our season ended today. I guess we'll find out for sure on Sunday, but I think we've got at least one game left.

Speaking of getting their heart ripped out. Tough night as your Bobcats blew a double digit lead to the better prepared Zips. Better coaching and execution from Akron, and they are just better than the Bobcats when it matters.
