I'm just imagining some top recruits and an NCAA birth. Nothing more... nothing less.

Go Falcons.
We get a little touchy here about spelling. It is berth. Birth is what gets you here in the world

Sorry, but you started it...

You mean syntax, not spelling.

I spelled birth correctly.

And a berth is a place for a boat. I MEAN a birth into the NCAA tournament.

A berth is a place for a boat, and an appointment or to allot a berth to, as in getting a BERTH in the NCAA. Webster and I are pretty tight

Always a Falcon is actually your "good woman." Just to be correct about things...

I'm afraid that all we're doing on this thread is moving around a bunch of 0s and 1s. While Krebs might or might not consider Huggins, there is NO WAY that Huggins would take a mid major job and the 90% pay cut that goes with it, especially if he thinks he may have a viable career at a some major (which he does), in the booth (which he does), or in the NBA (which he does). The prospect of Huggins coming to BG or any other MAC is superfantastic at best, so why are we discussing it? (...why am I discussing it?)

I think that we should give the hard drive a rest and drop this one.

What? We finally get a topic in the hoops forum that is more than "Ron Lewis sucks" or "Player XYZ transfers home becuae he misses his mommy" and you want to stop this thread?

I would normally say yes I agree with you. But
1. Huggins has ties to OU and the state of Ohio.
2. Frank Solich is coaching at OU, he didn't exactly have the negative press Huggy had but needed to move down to go back up.
3. Huggins will be doing whatever it takes to make his reputation better.
4. He most likely realizes he won't have to deal with much media if he coaches in Athens, Bowling Green or some other small city
