And Anthony is a former high school coach in the state of Ohio, so he has connections with the high school coaches already.

Also, most of our recruiting of basketball players comes through AAU programs.

Summey has a pretty impressive track record, one year as a head coach, been an assistant at every level.

During a recent interview, Huger indicated the staff had a meeting with an individual who volunteered his services as a shooting coach.

Still no word on Director of Basketball Operations, Video Coordinator, Graduate Assistant(s), etc.

Summey is phenomenal on Twitter....Summey Cum Laude, as it were. He was the DBO at Miami and brings years of coaching experience to boot.

DBO and Video Coordinator filled with a couple up-and-comers Huger had worked with at Miami. Overall, a high quality staff that matches up with anyone else in the league IMO.

Eric Konkol, also a Miami assistant, recently got the head coaching job at Louisiana Tech. He replaced Michael White, brother of Buffalo AD Danny White, who took the Florida job. It confirms how highly regarded Larranaga is in the coaching industry and the caliber of people that Huger has been around the last several years. Very, very encouraging for BG going forward.

Former assistant David Ragland landed an assistant's job at Northern Kentucky. I haven't heard on any of the other assistants from last year.

Former assistant (under Jans) Corey Barker is now an assistant at Louisiana Tech under Konkol, the former George Mason/Miami assistant who coached the past 8 years with Huger. How's that for odd?

Downey was a finalist for the head coaching job at St. Leo (Division II) but they picked someone else. Really hope he lands on his feet.
