I am not overly excited about this guy. At most we get 2 years out of him. His shot is low. He has literally been connected to 5 teams in his 2 year college career already. I don't think he will be bad, and I think he is good to add, but he shouldn't be a guaranteed starter. Especially with Fulcher-Fields and Metheny

I think this would be his 3rd season, right? 2019-2020 with Nebraska, 2020-2021 with Evansville, and now here at BG?

He redshirted at Nebraska in 18-19 apparently. So next year would be his 4th season with 3 seasons of eligibility I think since this season didn't count.
Curtis graduated from Xenia in 2019. Should be eligible next season with three years remaining.

I feel the opposite, I'm excited we have possibly landed him. He certainly brings a lot of potential and there could be a lot of upside to him. On paper, he has the kinds of recruiting ratings of a kid we can't even sign for starters. Off the top of my head, the last Ohio Mr. Basketball we signed was Keith McLeod. That turned out extremely well for us. To me, the key in him coming to BG will simply be - keeping him at BG. This kid's mind and playing stops have been all over the place in a short amount of time. Can you image committing to 4 different schools and playing at 2 of them in only 2 years, and now you're going to be heading off to your 5th commitment and 3rd stop? There's no way you're going to gain any traction doing that. To me, he's gotta buckle down now and play it out. I'm excited about the prospect of having him at BG. My only reservation for him coming would be, is he going to leave here too. Otherwise, this could be a very big addition for BG. I like it!

I would disagree. Being linked to 5 schools was due to factors outside of his control. Choosing a school because of coaches at the schools is a huge reason players go to schools. He just got lucky that the first 2 times he was able to back out after they left without burning eligibility. These are the kind of players schools like Toledo usually get instead of BG. Pencil him in at the 3 and let Fulcher be the MAC 6th man of the year. Starting Metheny, Fields and Fulcher is way to small of a backcourt.

This is the right take after looking more into it. Committed to Xavier, coach left. Committed to Cincy, coach left. Committed to Nebraska, coach fired, then transferred to Evansville under a coach that left before he got there. That’s rough luck.

After reading here, shouldn't everybody be excited and hoping his luck follows him here?

That was my immediate first thought reading through the history of the kid...

He looks like he is good attacking the basket, and his shot goes in, but it's so low it's bound to get blocked more than we want and he will need to be wide open.

His release is really quick. Hopefully, that will mitigate the low release point.

I see a big upside here. Let's see what he does when he gets settled at a school where the coach doesn't get canned.

Lundy would be a great person to fill Plowden's shoes. I think he'll get high-major interest, but we should definitely give him a call. I recall being excited about his highlights back when we offered him.

Most likely a long shot for either Penn State transfer. Both are getting a lot of interest form Mid-Majors and Power 5. Even OSU has interest in Wheeler.

Has anyone seen the kid from Lima Shawnee play? 1st team all Ohio. 6’3”, averages 31ppg and has ONE offer from Findlay. Doesn’t seem to make sense based on these numbers.
