That's just kinda what guys do on recruiting trips now. They wear the uniforms, they pose for pictures with coaches, etc.
It doesn't automatically mean anything, but you always know that a visit means they are at least seriously considering coming here. So I guess we'll see what happens with him.

Neither Spurgin nor Agee can shoot from there consistently currrently. Spurgin is a paint guy, and with him being with Simon already for a couple years that's probably not going to change. Agee might be able to hit a decent length mid-range shot with some good coaching. Bottom line, I would not expect either to become anything close to a 3-point threat.Diemilkweed wrote: ↑Sat Apr 22, 2023 9:11 pm Sure hope at least one of these bigs can shoot from 15 feet or more. Otherwise it gets very hard to play them together.

Are we sure about that? I didn't see much from him to indicate that. Of course he didn't play much...but...He just looks really small out there.

Could Dee Barnes be following Simon from Southern Utah?

Humphrey to NC StateHdog wrote: ↑Sat Apr 22, 2023 9:35 pm Using my flimsy theory of players followed by both Todd Simon's and BGSU Men's Basketball's Twitter accounts, it appears we can identify "targets":
Four 'new to BG' players met this double follow criteria: Javon Jackson [transfer portal from Southern Nazarene University - DII], Jason Spurgin [committed], DaJion Humprhey [Juco transfer discussed earlier in this thread], and PJ Edwards [committed].
It appears we offered Javon Jackson on March 19th, the day he put his name in the portal. He has accumulated several mid-major DI offers. He also appeared to visit BGSU today: https://twitter.com/_JavonJackson/statu ... 79265?s=20
I believe there are other offers out there if you have the time to piece together everything. I ran out of patience. lol

Globe, that was a retweet of someone else's commitment to NC State:Globetrotter wrote: ↑Mon Apr 24, 2023 4:04 pmHumphrey to NC StateHdog wrote: ↑Sat Apr 22, 2023 9:35 pm Using my flimsy theory of players followed by both Todd Simon's and BGSU Men's Basketball's Twitter accounts, it appears we can identify "targets":

BG has reached out to Da'Shawn Phillip from Maryland-Eastern Shore out of the MEAC. 6-5 guard with 9.8 PPG and 3.1 RPG last season.

Mmmm. PJ Edwards is pictured wearing #4 on bgsufalcons.com. Lightfoot wore #4 last year.

Would not be surprised that Lightfoot wants to wear 1. He wore in HS. Also pictures show from that time with 2 and 13.BleedOrange wrote: ↑Wed Apr 26, 2023 11:37 am Mmmm. PJ Edwards is pictured wearing #4 on bgsufalcons.com. Lightfoot wore #4 last year.![]()
