anyone there?
The good old Toledo Blade had the attendance at 1,300 for the EMU. Is this
correct? I know Eastern is not a draw on a Tuesday night, but wow...
But the most important stat is the juicy 'W' BG collected.
Go Falcons!!

Is anyone supposed to be surprised? You haven't drawn anything all year, what makes you think people were going to come last night? Getting 1,300 fans for a conference game, what a joke. If 1,300 seemed high, I guess that means there was what, six or seven students there then?Metz wrote:Actually that seems high...for real.

You're still hanging around here??
Tell ya what. If your goal is to be irritating, you're succeeding. If your goal is to be perceived as an intelligent, sportsmanlike representative of your school on another school's board, you're failing miserably. Look, here's a board where someone might care.
I thought the attendance for the EMU game was much less than 1300 too-- at least at first, but it seemed like more people showed up after the game started.

You do know that game was a weekday game. Students go to classes or are getting out of class and some kids are actually doing homework, unlike your university. Yeah A.A. may not be as fancy as your convo, but on average how many fans does OU get during weekday games?OhioBobcat wrote:Is anyone supposed to be surprised? So what if it was a weekday game. Excuses, excuses. You had only 3,200 on a weekend against your biggest rival and we just played you on Saturday and you had just over 2,000 there. We get 2,000 in the O-Zone alone for every game, yes, even on weekdays. We're averaging about 5,000 a game and have had crowds of 10,000 and 8,000 this year so far. It's been how many years since your school has had a sports program to be proud of? It should be interesting when the novelty wears off and you all go back to your hukkah pipes.
Now go away buttercup.

We get it, Putz. Our attendance - bad. OU's attendence - well, better than ours. How many times are your going to post this? Seriously? That's only about the 10th time you have made this same post. OU has a lot of hype and attendance is up. Our team is... having a down year and attendance is down. WE KNOW. Good Lord, Putz. Why don't you make some more personal attacks on Moom Robinson.OhioBobcat wrote:

Big deal, OU has had better attendance. I can name many schools that are still better than yours. how about, UK women's team having a better average than OU men. I won't even bring up the men's program (why do think the OU/UK game had 16K). I have been to a UK gymnastic meet that drew a larger crowd than most of your games.OhioBobcat wrote:

I have seen all the crap that loser from OU has been posting, and with this topic I had to join the boards and respondOhioBobcat wrote:So what if it was a weekday game. Excuses, excuses. Bobkitten has that video suppose to impress anyone, cause it didn't impress me. I have seen bigger crowds at high school games down in Cincy then that. Next season when your team returns to where they belong, the MAC seller, the crowds for your guys game will be like the crowds for your girls games

Did you know that we have averaged 7,000 fans in a year where we were 5-21 a few years ago?? Our fan base does not fluctuate, win or lose. Our region may not be very populated, but everyone BACKS THE CATS!
As far as that O-ZONE video, it doesn't do the section justice. There are many more students in it than you see there--a whole lot more than you'll ever get in you podunk gym.
Here is a little better picture of the expansiveness of OHIO's crowd:

GO OHIO!!!

Did you know that not one person here gives a rat's behind?OHIO fan wrote:

You are not our rivals, nor do we care about OU one way or the other. We root against you when it helps BG and we root for you when it helps BG. Outside of the implications for the Falcons, we couldn't possibly care less.
