6-6 Western Michigan
5-7 Buffalo
5-7 Bowling Green
5-8 Toledo
4-8 Ball State
2-10 Eastern Michigan
1-11 Central Michigan

This is the standings of the bottom of the conference. Seeds 9-12 have to play a first round MAC Tournament game on the road. It looks like EMU and CMU are locks for seeds 11 and 12.

The rest of us are fighting to stay out of the 9 and 10 seed spots. Right now we are tied for the 6 seed with Buffalo, but their victory over us at AA gives them the tie-breaker. We'll have to beat them at Buffalo to gain back the advantage.

We are currently 1/2 game ahead of Toledo but that coulsd swign the other way this weekend...or we could take a 1 1/2 game lead with a victory.

Western also has the tie-breaker on us since they drilled us at their place earlier this year. I can't see us moving ahead of them unless they have a real free-fall and we wiins some games we aren't suppose to.

Ball State also has the tie-breaker on us since we couldn't block out and lost by a point at AA.

All we can do is steal a couple of wins the rest of the way. I think 8-10 and maybe 7-11 might get us that home game?

:?: Not to pick, but I think you are thinking of NIU. We lost at BSU on a missed shot (Wright?) at the buzzer. Again, not to be an OhioBobcat, just a little assist.

Actually BG lost by one even with a Wright made 3 at the buzzer at Ball State. The missed shot loss at the buzzer was Buffalo! Just wanted to clarify. :?

Ah Yes, it's all comming back now. Look at that, I tried to correct Rollo and I was wrong. Mabey I am an OhioBobcat. My apologies Rollo (and Mr. Wright).

No, I just think all these close losses in heartbreaking fashion has us all confused about what happened it what game. Aside from the WMU and Miami games, they’re all pretty similar in one way or another. Seriously though, like Rollo83 stated, this is the stretch run. I really think one of the key games in this run is this Saturday vs. Toledo. When you look at the rest of our schedule in the MAC (@ UT, @ UA, KSU, @ UB, MU & @ OU), this is one of those games we need to steal.

yup. Of course, given the fact that we have been better on the road than at home this season, that may not be a bad thing.

I'd still rather play at home any day. But if we don't muster up some wins here and get some help, we'll have no other choice but to play on the road.
