What I keep coming back to

I quit trying to debate anything regarding our program a week ago because no matter what I say has been wrong and only led to pissing matches. Thats great, and that being said, I'm not trying to start a debate here, but I'm sure this will be hijacked into yet another "FIRE DAKICH AND BURN THE RECORDS!" thread, but I feel that I need to say this.
When people keep talking about how hard Dakich is on his players, or how he is driving players away, all I can keep thinking about is Senior Day last year. Watching Cory Eynk, John Reimold and Josh Almanson completely break down in front of every fan in Anderson Arena and say that Dakich became a second father for them and has done more to prepare them for life than almost anyone they've ever known was a powerful, powerful testament to me of just how much Dakich cares about these kids and how much he is willing to give them.
I don't know what to make of the situation the program is in anymore, but I keep coming back to this moment. Make of that what you will, I can't stop you.
