...but I think the MAC's own Randy Drury is featured on this website created by some Purdue fans. Did he ref in the Big Ten before he came to the MAC? Might not be the same guy, but if it's the guy I'm thinking of, I see a pattern forming...
Now with that said, I hope he is ok and that he is released from the hospital soon.

yep, that's the same Randy Drury. He's been a ref for many, many years. Both the Big Ten and MAC. There are a couple other MAC refs who have made it to the Big Ten and bigger. (NCAA final 4)

This must be Randy Drury day. He is also the ref mentioned in another thread that had to leave the UT-Western game the other night because of an irregular heartbeat.

Thats why I said it might be tasteless - my timing that is... But it was an interesting find.

Alot of refs do both Big Ten and MAC games, although the names escape me at this time. That has been one of the big arguments about why some MAC games are so poorly officiated, that you get a guy who does a bunch of B10 games assigned to a MAC game and he half-asses it.
Irregardless, I hope Randy makes a full recovery and comes back to be booed again!
