I caught his post-game interview. He was beside himself with excitement. I'm really happy for him.

I was checking out his roster. Most of his kids are from MD, 2 are from oversees, 1 is from MA, and 1 is from VA. Oddly, not one single kid is from the OH/MI/IN area. After 11 years at BG, I would've expected him to have maintained some recruiting ties with the region. Of course, this might be more of a factor of his assistants contacts rather this his own.

How many are from the Bronx?

Your first comment is why I think I'm pulling for GM and Coach L so much. Yeah, maybe we gave him alot of crap while he was here, and maybe he had some ego issues in some folks eyes in and around the campus and town, but here's a guy that's busted his balls for 20 years at the "mid-major" level, and is finally getting to enjoy some serious rewards.

Of course, if he could beat UCONN and lay down vs. Villanova, I'd be ecstatic.

67-65 GMU with the ball. TO at 4:02. There's only been one defensive stop in the last 4 or 5 minutes.

If I recall correctly, I believe I heard yesterday that UCLA as an 11 seed made it some time ago. I could be wrong about the team, though.

Yeah, I had heard LSU, too, but forgot the year. That's probably the right one.

Did everyone catch the pregame when they were showing Coach L pace the sidelines, and mentioned something about how he has experience beating big schools, "...at Bowling Green, he beat Michigan State twice, Ohio State and Kentucky." :-D

Unvelievable. I can't believe UConn tied this thing up. Going to OT.
