Update: The Big Ten might as well have been the MAC, failing to advance a single team to the Sweet 16.

Actually, who cares...the MAC stunk this year as did us. The Big Televen was actaully pretty good this past year, so I take it as a complement

I dont see what the big deal is..it is not easy anymore...some of these mid majors are not really mid majors..obvioulsy george mason is proving it. i think they have a legit shot at winning it all..why not? they beat msu nc and uconn!?!?!?!

with all of these george masons, witchita's and bradley's the MAC is falling and staying behnd however.. it can only go up from here

I don't know what the heck these other mid-majors conferences like the MWC MVC have figured out but ther're leaving the Mac in the dust. We used to be on par with those other conferences but now we seem to be near dead last in the "mid-major" landscape.
