Has anyone else heard this????? Heard this from a very reliable source, but haven't seen anything official yet.

What are the odds for "homesick" on this one? Sandusky is a pretty long drive - with the current gas prices.

:-({|= Sorry to be playing this song again.

Nooo not P-squared.

*This post isn't meant as bitching. It was me being sarcastic. Congrats to P2 for graduating and good luck in the future.*

If true, this could cost us 25% of our wins next season. We're relying on our senior leadership to improve, Patrick was one of four seniors to be. Therefore, we now have 25% less leadership and 25% less chance for success.

I hear he is graduating this May and has decited to seek a job after graduating. This isn't a big surprise. Please don't tell me this is a huge lose. We lost a hard working body on the team. Don't make too much of this.

Yeah, personally, I see this as a success story as opposed to a loss.

I liked Phillips....he actually would move without the ball and work to get open.

Glad to hear he's leaving to get somewhere rather than get away from somewhere......

So now we're bitching about a player GRADUATING and blaming Dakich for his not playing next year?

Unbelievable.

Well the first 2 out of 3 posts kind of had that tone....

But, seriously. Why would anyone want to graduate and get a job when they could stay in school for one more year, play basketball, take dance classes, party and then graduate and get a job next year.

Right, he's bitching about bitching. Doesn't that count? If its no bitching, it should be no bitching.

Right on, Grant. Patrick Phillips stuck it out as a walk-on receiving little playing time to finish histerm under an extremely demanding coach and graduate. Alvin Freeman stuck it out for two years, and he did so far away from his Georgia upbringing. I have respect for what they've done, especially Phillips. These guys provide a different perspective on the actions of guys like Vandermeer, Wright, Holland, and Moss.

Pat Phillups....

Actually Pat did a great thing for himself if he indeed is already graduating and is looking for a job. From his standpoint thats a hell of alot better than wasting away on this team as it stands and it isn't looking too pretty right now. This is a great way of escape for him as I see it.

Things look so bleak right now that I think the only thing that might help our men's basketball program right now is maybe Jesus himself took over....and thats a big maybe. I just want the freakin bleeding to stop once and for all. I need some hope for our once excellent mens basketball program. [-o<
