Word out of CSTV has MAC Freshman of the Year Maurice Acker leaving Ball State and transferring to Marquette perhaps related to the coaching change.
And per JJHuddle, Tim O'Shea will be having a second interview at Seton Hall this week as well. This is the first I've seen O'Shea's name mentioned with the job as Pittsburgh assistant Barry Rohrrsen and Manhattan coach Bobby Gonzalez have been closely linked on other rumor/message boards.

It was mentioned in the "pseudo-Artie" column Grant linked last night, but as a "no chance in hell" type deal... I'd say a second interview contradicts that.

The Gary Waters to OU rumors will begin to gain steam, as they have a very talented team returning and a reputation for paying beyond MAC norms as far as salary.
Cnnsi's "Truth and Rumors" section routinely quote newspapers around the country and according to today's reports in the New York Daily News Tim O'Shea will be named head coach at Seton Hall before the end of the week.

Option, you must have missed the post today about Waters likely being named this week as the new coach at Cleveland St.

There’s also been news about Jeremy Fears floating around. He was slated to be headed to Iowa State after taking a leave of absence from Ohio, but Iowa State recently got rid of its head coach. It was reported Fears may now be headed somewhere else. I’m anxious to see where he ends up going.
I'm also wondering what Steven Wright is going to do in terms of his college basketball career now. I wonder if he'll trying playing ball somewhere this year at a lower level (non D-I), or if he's hanging up his shoes on his college career.

I saw a mention of Waters and Cleveland State, but didn't realize it was in an advanced stage . . . I feel that he could be rushing it to get back in and the program at OU would have a much higher ceiling for immediate success.
