Convocation Center

OK--this should be in the Hoops Forum. but what's done is done.
Well, the Blade reports that the Board of Trustees held their Spring meeting this week and still no news, at least not yet, about the study concerning renovation of Anderson or construction of a Convocation Center.
Here's some speculation.
1-Originally, the study was to be completed by the end of last year. Surely, it has been completed and they are just waiting for an appropriate time to announce the results.
2-I feel that if the study reached negative conclusions, they would have been released quickly. The delay leads me to believe that the conclusions were positive and that some issues, especially financial issues, need to be settled before a public statement is released.
3-Here are some "maybes".
Maybe, after the Board announced a $750 total increase in student fees, they are letting this settle before announcing a Convocation Center project that would involve student funding of some kind.
Maybe they want the fund raising for athletics in the Building Dreams campaign to reach its goal (or come closer) before announcing another fund raising campaign related, at least partially, to athletics. The Sebo Center is nearing its $7 million goal. But the overall goal for athletics is $18 million of which $13 million has been pledged. In the Building Dreams statements I have seen, no specifics have been given about what the additional $11 million beyond the Sebo Center is for.
Maybe a "silent campaign" is already underway for a Convocation Center and they are waiting until some significant headway has been made before announcing the project.
Maybe they are waiting for other kinds of funding, e.g. student financed bonds and/or state funding, to be agreed on.
OK-now here's a couple of questions.
1-Does anyone know anything about decisions/plans that have been made?
Even if specifics can't be revealed, I'd be happy with a " Be patient, good news is coming." answer.
2-As I said, the Building Dreams campaign goal for athletics is $18 million, and this is $11 million more than the $7 million goal for the Sebo Center. Now $11 million is a lot of money. Does anyone know what this is scheduled for?
GO BG!!
