BG's Daniels & McLeod on NBA Live 2005!

I just picked up NBA Live 2005 the other day and played it last night. Much to my liking, BG's Antonio Daniels & Keitth McLeod are "in the game!" Daniels was obviously with Seattle, but they also have a list of free agents on the game and they already had McLeod on there. I was going to create him if he wasn't listed, but it was cool to see him already on there.

What Daniel's overall rating? I got 2003 and I believe he's like a 76 or 78 (99 after I boosted him up cause he is the man). Also, are the freestyle controls improved from 2004 at all? They changed a lot between 2003 and 2004 so I am just curious if the switched it up again.

I actually only played around with it for about an hour so I'm not sure what Daniels' ratings were, I never looked. However, the game did have a lot of cool new features. The slam dunk and three-point shootout was awesome, I played the Rookie vs. Sophomores game and messed around with the freestyle a little bit. Another good thing was, I bought it at Best Buy for $39.99 (regular price) and I thought that was $10.00 lower than the game was usually priced. They actually had a copy of 2004 there for $49.99. Judging from the little I played it, it's a much better value and has everything last's years had (plus Keith McLeoad

) at a better price.
Noticed that too!!!!!!!!

Yeah, I was shocked to see Keith in the Free Agents list , but then he did play some last year with the T-wolves. This years NBA Live 2005 does seem better than last years for sure. The new slam-dunk contest is fun but hard when you try to ally-oop to yourself.

I saw Meijer actually had it for $40 too and was thinking about picking one up myself!

I've never really enjoyed EA's basketball offering. I find ESPN's much more enjoyable.
And this is from someone who buys EA hockey, football, baseball, and golf games religiously. I love EA sports, but I have just never cared for their basketball game.
Last year's ESPN College Hoops w/ TJ Ford on the cover was awesome! I played BG to a couple final fours, but never did quite get us the NC

I stick to EA Sports over anything like I stick to BG over TU. Ever since my Bulls vs. Lakers and the NBA Playoffs on Genesis, I have been a huge fan of EA Sports! I've mastered them all and will continue to stick with them.

Oh, don't get me wrong, I LOVE EA Sports. The last 3 games I've bought have been MVP Baseball, NCAA, and Tiger Woods. All great EA Sports games. I just prefer ESPN's basketball offering, that's all.
EA rocks, especially online play!
