"Hamblet, who stands 6-5, is both long and athletic. Hamblet, one of the most versatile players in Illinois, can easily swing between the 1, 2 or 3 spots on the court. A skilled and versatile athlete, Ryne has an explosive first step with an above par 3-point shot"
He should be a great addition to our basketball squad, and has versatility like moler. This class looks very nice.

I sense that your natural disposition is not particularly sunny...

It seems that he will be able to fill the role that Steven Wright vacated (...but hopefully with a better attitude).

Looks like Hamblet could contribute at the PG position

i highly doubt he's better than Reggie Harwell...Harwell was a 6'7 pg while he was at BG...i watched some open gyms while he was there and he would've been a star...A pass first type of player with a desire to win...it just too bad he couldnt have stuck around but hey who does anymore....

Open gyms are a little different than a real game. Hell I watched open gyms and steven wright was able to get on a break away and put the ball between his legs and dunk it. I don't remember seeing that during a regular season game. Anyone can look like a star during open gym. The main thing is to translate that talent when it really matters.

I don't believe that Harwell has ever emerged anywhere else to do anything meaningful. I don't doubt that he has tons of physical ability. Tragically, he hasn't applied it and has wasted his college years being an f-up.
