Nice article! I have seen Josh working his camp at the Community Center. The kids all seem like they are having a really great time!! Lots of cheering going on, by both the leaders and the kids!!

Do you think this is a non-intentional jab at the program/system Dakich runs in BG:
talking about his team in Europe: "I scored well and looked to be more of an outside player," he said. "It was a good position to be in because everyone wants to be in the position to shoot the ball as much as possible. It was nice to have that green light."

No....it's not unintentional. A close friend and I sat through all the games up until his senior year and couldn't believe he was being used as a post up player with his back to the basket. He averaged between 4-8 points per game in any given season prior to his senior year and then blossomed to 16 ppg as a senior when he was finally allowed to face the basket and shoot it.

Really....I thought from day one Josh had the skills to be very effective facing the basket, but didn't show them until his final year or two. He wasn't very assertive offensively early on and then he got hurt after that.
He was healthy and mature as a Senior and it finally gave him a chance to show what he could do.

No, I don't think it was a jab. He just likes being the guy who can shoot whenever he gets the ball.

I haven't been paying very close attention to the site, but I don't recall seeing any mention of this. Josh apparently took home some hardware from the 2005-06 season in the Luxembourg's Diekirch Basketball League. He was named 2nd team All-DBBL and 1st team All-Import team.
